Executive Director

Position Summary:

Fairfield Alabama Housing Authority (FAHA) is seeking a qualified, motivated, and visionary Executive Director to lead our organization in achieving its mission and strategic goals. FAHA administers 298 public housing units.

The ideal candidate should possess a strong background in management, particularly in affordable housing, and a working understanding of finance, human resources, business/community development, public administration, or a closely related field. This role requires an individual who can effectively negotiate and manage resources while fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence within the organization. The selected candidate will be responsible for supervising all aspects of FAHA’s day-to-day operations.

Maintenance Technician

Position Summary:

Responsible for performing a variety of semi-skilled and skilled structural, plumbing, and electrical building maintenance work at Authority properties. Work involves repair and replacement of items such as windows, doors, gutters, cabinets, walls, ceilings, toilets, faucets, water lines, electrical outlets, and light fixtures.  Also performs preventive maintenance tasks and grounds keeping tasks.
