Fairfield Alabama Housing Authority

The mission of the Fairfield Alabama Housing Authority is to provide drug-free, decent, safe and sanitary housing to eligible families, and to provide opportunities and promote self-sufficiency and economic independence for public housing residents.

The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) provides federal assistance to the FAHA which manages 298 units in Demetrius Newton Gardens and Mattie Gill Jackson Gardens.

FAHA is recognized as a housing community where everyone is held to a higher standard of accountability. This promotes the opportunity to “Build for a Better Tomorrow.”
