Executive Director
I am honored to serve as the new Executive Director of the Fairfield Alabama Housing Authority (FAHA). It is with great enthusiasm and a deep sense of responsibility that I step into this role, committed to advancing our mission of providing safe, affordable, and quality housing for the residents of Fairfield.
Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of serving in various capacities across housing authorities in Alabama—from my early days as an Occupancy Specialist and Asset Manager at the Housing Authority of the Birmingham District, to leadership roles at the Selma and Bessemer Housing Authorities. These experiences have shaped my understanding of the challenges and opportunities within public housing, and have reinforced my belief in the power of community-focused leadership.
As a native of Birmingham and a proud graduate of Stillman College and the University of Alabama at Birmingham, I bring not only professional expertise but also a personal commitment to the people of this region. My approach is simple: put people first. I believe that by recruiting talented individuals, investing in their development, and fostering a culture of service, we can create lasting impact.
I consider myself a servant for the people. My goal is to bring people together, provide quality services, and make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents. I am passionate about meeting individuals where they are, supporting their growth, and promoting pathways to self-sufficiency.
Outside of work, I am a devoted husband to Tracey Howard and a proud father of three adult children. My family and community are at the heart of everything I do, and I remain actively engaged in initiatives that uplift and empower those around me.
I look forward to working with each of you as we build a stronger, more vibrant Fairfield. Together, we will continue to improve housing opportunities and outcomes for all.
Warm regards,
